Are you quitting Facebook?

in

Are you thinking of quitting Facebook? Quite a few people seem to be annoyed at Facebook advertising to them! (imagine! Trying to make some revenue from providing a service, the cheek of it!), others are uneasy with the privacy issues.

We have a simple rule of thumb: You don't want the world to see something? Then don't post it on the internet! Especially not on a Social Networking website! There are plenty of secure photo sharing sites out there if you want to password protect your holiday snaps.

Anyway we came across this quitting Facebook video on YouTube recently and thought it was quite funny.

Hard decision!

Although there are privacy issues on facebook, but I can't just imagine about quitting facebook. It's a real masterpiece of Web2.0 from Mark Zuckerberg. They just have to make some changes in their privacy policy and make the users informations safe and secure like any other social networking sites. Noone will be quiting if they just reduce being less user-oriented and more and more advertiser-friendly to the point where they sell them your information. Rest there's lot of good and attracting properties in facebook.
