Forum:

We experimented with the new phpBB 3 software but Sully felt it was too intimidating for people who aren’t that techy, so I reverted back to the older simpler phpBB 2. I disabled a lot of the features and removed other unnecessary clutter from the templates to make the forum as easy as possible to use. I think the end result is a simple but powerful forum that anyone can use.

Blogs:

Cully & Sully wanted to be able to keep their customers up to date with all their news, so I used a Word Press blog for their news section. They’ve videoed cooking demos so with a simple plug in for Word Press they’re able to embed You Tube videos into the site.

The lads also wanted to create a user friendly recipe database that they can update themselves so I used Word Press again. The layout required quite a bit of template rehashing but i got there int he end.

Thanks Shane

Hi Shane,

Thankyou for designing our site it's fantastic, above all else peoople love the Cully & Sully website for its useability and because it makes them smile!

For those wondering about Shanes ability, I can't help noticing he has neglected to say that for this site we won the overall Golden Spider Award, in a nutshell, saying it is the best website in the country, all things considered.

He's never been a sales man!

Thanks again Shane,

Cullen Allen a.k.a CULLY

Thanks for that Cully! I thought I'd mentioned the Golden Spiders enough elsewhere on the Website!
