Q: Is there any way that I can arrange to use the excellent ImageCache module to display my user pictures / avatars on my drupal site?

A: Yes there is, just use the ImageCache Profiles module.

If you want more control over how your user and profile pictures are displayed then checkout the ImageCache Profiles module, it allows you to use all the power and configurability of ImageCache when displaying your user pictures. Being able to nicely display user pictures can really help your website design.

We us it quite a bit here on our clients' websites and can heartily recommend it!
