Great stuff thanks Stranger -
Great stuff thanks Stranger - mind you we're more then happy with how Ubercart works with Drupal at this stage, Magento is fine if you want a very simple shop but the lack of documentation has made us lose interest in Magento to a large degree, there's just too much head scratching to do.

Hi M! We just launched Gloves
Hi M!
What we really like about Ubercart is that you get the powerful CMS and flexibility of Drupal with your e-commerce solution. I find that Magento sites tend to look very much the samey. Also the developers behind Magento are looking for you to pay for tech support which is why, i think, there's so little documentation available. Having said that Magento is a very good system, we just prefer what Drupal & Ubercart have to offer.
We just launched Gloves By Paula Rowan as our first Ubercart site with another due to go live very shortly.
Some of the nicer features of the site are, if you select the different colours in the example below, we've replaced the product image with the respective colour. example. We have achieved the same effect in Magento on a previous project, but we had to buy a module for 80 euro and then we had to fix the code! Mind you we also had to fix the Ubercart module for this as outlined in Kev's Blog post here, but at least the Ubercart module was free!
Also when you select a size it will automatically check the stock for that colour & size combination and if there's no stock it will replace the "add to cart button" with an "out of stock" note. Like any of the Black colours in this example.
Thanks
Shane

Hello,
The site looks great.
Hello,
The site looks great. You make some good points about Magento but if you dig around enough there is good info out there. I suppose a lot of Magento sites look the same because people are happy with the default template and have a tight budget. I was shocked at the price for their enterprise edition though.
Then again a lot of drupal sites look similiar too. I'm liking what the guys at http://adaptivethemes.com/ are doing with their grid theme. Giving the option for a vertical or horizontal login block is a nice touch.
I'd love to try it but I'm scared a bit of Drupal & Ubebrcart running an e-commerce site just for maintainence reasons alone. If you have 10-15 modules installed is it not a nightmare to maintain for upgrades?
Thanks,
Mark

Ready Solution
Browsing Magento forum a bit, I found free extension which is Drupal CMS full integration (http://www.magentocommerce.com/extension/1020/drupal). I do NOT use it myself, hence I can not guarantee the correct work of it. But it has 1233 downloads. I hope it works.

Hi guys,
Just if anyone is looking for fast magento hosting I found a crowd in the US called SimpleHelix. Excellent service and it's the fastest installation of Magento I can find.
